AVA Tasks are used to quickly create, compare and edit documents. You can build and save a repeatable Task to compare resumes to a job description, look for specific language s in contracts, write lesson plans and documentation … the possibilities are endless.
AVA Tasks are centered around your documents. Rather than chatting with an AI model for general knowledge, AVA Tasks are built to leverage AI to help you get your work done faster.
To use AVA Tasks, simply add your documents, tell AVA what you want her to do in the prompt section and run your task.
AVA supports the following filetypes:
AVA is currently limited to documents of 5mb or smaller. You can add multiple documents at a time to AVA, though she only has so much memory for any single chat or task.
Since AVA lives in your cloud, she can see the documents you have permission to see SharePoint files, email and Teams messages. You can also directly upload documents of supported filetype and size from your computer by selecting the "My Computer" button in the search dialog.
Using a prompting strategy can improve AVA's output and help you get work done even faster. To make it easier for you, we built our Tasks with a Roles, Actions and Goals prompt format. Simply fill out the three boxes with the appropriate information and AVA will have a much better idea of what you want her to do.
Tasks can be saved to the library to use later.
If you task has already been saved to the library, AVA will ask you whether you want to update the current library item or save a new task to the library.
Note: Tasks can be saved to the library without their documents. If you want to create a blank template for later use, simply delete any documents from the task before clicking "Save to Library".
The task library is a collection of all the tasks saved by you and other members of your team. Simply click on any task in the library to run it as a new task.
You can sort and filter the results to find the tasks you are looking for. You can also use the Task Library search bar to search for tasks by:
By default, AVA saves all your work to your session history, but there are more robust ways to interact with the content AVA helps you create. Rather than scrolling back through your chat or the session history, or copying AVA's answers to another app, you can save your work in AVA Workspaces. From here, you can continue editing and share your Chat and Workspace with other members of your team.
Hover over any task output in AVA, and you will see a "Copy" icon. This will load the content of your task output to your clipboard to paste into your Workspace. From there, you can keep editing and formatting, as well as share your work with your team.
